We want to update our French customers on some changes coming on 12th December 2022. Spot trading products will no longer be offered to French customers, but they can still use our sentiment analysis indicator and technical analysis screener. Here are more details on what this means.
We had to follow the laws by stopping access to Futures trading in August 2022 for our French customers. As we have announced, our company submitted its application for DASP with the French regulator AMF. To comply with all regulations, we must stop offering Spot trading products also for French customers. This might be disappointing in the short term, but getting a DASP will change the company in many ways. This would allow us to offer custodian, market-making, and even brokerage services for B2B customers. Not to mention our opportunities to market BCUBE will also increase.
With the Spot and Futures products not available anymore, starting on 12 December 2022, we will deactivate all active subscriptions on Spot trading bots including credit card and staking. Credit card subscribers will be eligible for a subscription refund. The affected customers will be contacted personally by email.
We hope that this update provides some clarity for our French customers regarding the changes happening on 12th December 2022. Even though spot trading products will no longer be offered, there are still other valuable tools available, such as our Sentiment Analysis Indicator and Technical Analysis Screener.
