In this article, we collected the most common mistakes beginner BCUBEIANS make.
- Insufficient margin
As you know we work in a non-custodial model. This means, our bots need to be connected to your exchange account where they can start trading automatically. The bots can’t trade if the amount on your account is too small.
2. Too much leverage
Leverage errors are similar to margin errors. If you change your settings too high, the bot cannot execute the trades. The higher your leverage is, the higher margin you need to work optimally. We do not recommend having more than 1x leverage on your Futures account.
3. API restrictions
You need to give permission to our bots to trade on your account. If you want to use a Spot market trading bot, like the Bulls & Bears Altcoin bot, you need to Enable Spot and Margin. If you want to use a Futures bot, like most bots available now, you need to Enable Futures.
4. Wrong settings
On the Altcoin bot, you can customize your bot and change the percentage of your portfolio to be used on each signal. You can change the amount on Low, Medium and High-risk signals. However, if you use 0% on one of them, you won’t get the signals on your account with this risk level anymore. For example, High risk 0%. It is also true if your settings are too high. In the case of 100% on Medium risk, you use all of the account’s balance on one trade and the bot cannot open the next signal as it doesn’t have any available balance left. In the case of our Futures bots, this problem comes when you use 0% allocation.
